Take Ben Out to the Ballgame!

It's certainly not news that Ben Affleck is a huge Boston Red Sox fan -- he's been spotted at Fenway Park with wife Jennifer Garner plenty of times before. But never before has Ben made a play on the field -- well, almost.

Ben and Jen were seated in the first row along the first base side on Sunday for a game against the Los Angeles Angels, broadcast on ESPN. In the bottom of the second inning, a pop fly came in their direction and when Angels first baseman Howie Kendrick came over to make a play, but almost had the ball stolen away from him by a fan. That fan? Ben Affleck.

Kendrick was able to make the play and the Angels went on to win 10-4.

So not only did Affleck's beloved Sox lose, but he lost out on a souvenir too.

2. The real story is how Ben could let Jen sit on the take-one-for-the-team-side. Home plate was to the Left & you let ur girl sit in the line of fire.

8. Unfortunately that is Ben Affleck(the game was on ESPN last night) funny thing is that the people at Fenway booed him for trying to interfere with that call. Ben and his wife just show up for the weekly sighting, with that they should be in all the weekly tabloids this week. They are such devoted fans that as soon as the middle of the game came about they had left the stadium. I guess they had made their presence and they could leave then.

15. Ben and Jen show up at Fenway only when they need a bit of publicity. How much you want to bet that those pictures of them at Fenway show up in all the weekly tabloids. Mr tabloid famewhore has been lacking publicity since he has been in Boston directing and the Mrs. has also been hiding out in Boston until she lost all the baby weight. I read in the local newspaper that the two of them left almost immediately after that happened and it was not even the middle of the game. such devoted fans my ass.
