Bindi Irwin Gets Slimed

Less than a month after the Crocodile Hunter's memorial service, Terri Irwin and daughter Bindi appear to be moving forward -- by attending the Nickelodeon Australian Kids' Choice Awards.

The two were all smiles as they walked the "orange carpet" in their Australia Zoo outfits, filling in for the late Steve Irwin, who was scheduled to present the "Fave Aussie" award before his death last month.

Bindi even got in on the slime action -- after giving the award to Guy Sebastian, the singer hugged the little presenter, covering her with the green gunk.

31. These idiot comments are from the same kids who get beat up at school, get their lunches kicked down the hallway, and tripped when they get up from their desk, and get laughed at by other groups of kids. The rude comments don't bother me, I know what the facts are because I never missed the show and I visited the zoo. And if you watched at all, every dime he made went back into wildlife conservation and environmentalism. Did you see their house? They didn't live in a mansion OR drive fancy cars. They drove beater 4 x 4's and lived in an ordinary middle class house. Jealousy and immature behavior just makes you look stupid and uninformed. So does the fact that you don't have the balls to post your real name. Now THAT is funny. Cowardly idiots. I haven't heard such moronic things since about the 8th grade. (Hint: Parental Controls) And btw, the "blokes" killing the stingrays were not killing them on Steve's behalf, he wouldn't have wanted that in a million years. They were doing that out of grief and fear. And now they see it's unsubstantiated. It was an accident. Now go out and play in the street kids.

33. For all of you that leave unnessasary comments find somewhere else to go and leave your rude ass comments. There is a place and time for your immature conduct. When there is a good story we don't need your inappropriate comments. Get a life and focus on your own screwd up lives.

34. to 'what they said me too' Steve was a crocodile removal program to get them out of harms way and out of humans way in QLD. The only reason he became big was due to his wife, who wanted to take his conservation message to the world. he was not a media whore! Show some respect you useless piece of sh*t

35. I agree with patty. I live in QLD and know that Steve and hisa family did not live extravagent lifestyles. he has bought lots and lots of land around Australia and the world so theat it cannot be built on and the wildlife can be preserved. he puts a lot of money into his foundation, and the profits from his series goes into conservation. Steve was a larger than life character. he enjoyed peoples company but was in no way a media whore like many of these stars on this site eg Paris ect. He was down to earth and none of it was for show. A collegue of mine who attend QLD tourism functions commented on how he was when he attended the conferences- exactly the same as you see him acting at the zoo and on his show. he had no arirs and graces he was a down to earth aussie bloke. Good on him RIP STEVE. i think people have alot of bent up anger inside to take it out on people who have passed away.It must make them feel better about themselves. sad very sad.

40. Good Lord People
All of you jerkoffs that are being so negative about miss Bindi and Terri are just failures in your own lives, maybe if you all got your fat asses off your couch and from behind your computers, and perhaps do something with your life, then maybe you wouldn't be sitting here saying such crappy stuff about this family that just lost a very important person in their lives. It's just pure jealousy, they know how to make lots of green and you don't.

41. Bindi is a wonderful little girl and such a blessing. I'm so glad that the kids and Terri are able to draw strength from each other in this difficult time. I loved the interview Terri did, and her thoughts on death. She knows that her family will be together again one day, and that, until then, they will continue to pursue the conservation and environmentalism that Steve lived and died for. Alot of people can learn from their strength and grace. Bindi has her dad's "larger than life" presence and I can't wait to watch her do her own show. Her father taught her well, and she will strive to make her daddy proud her whole life. She's a precious little thing with a heart even bigger than she is. God bless them all and help guide them when they need the strength and the road seems too long - they can get through this, so many people are rooting for them. So sad when bad things happen to good people, accident or not, but Steve's legacy will live on.

44. She is just too precious!!! She's sure is mesmerizing.
.
I hope the public lets her go through her rebellious teen years (we all have them in one form or another) without too much criticism and condemnation.

She sure does seem at ease with all her talents.
