46. It's about time Nicole. Now I would like to see her surrounded with regular people in a circle NOT the Hilton sisters,Lohan, or anyone else. Can she handle being around a regular person with no connections to hollywood what so ever. Those are the people who will give her the help she needs. Nicole needs to find the regular people, not the sponges or the wealthy.

49. Glad to see that Nicole is eating, although, I still think (as many others do)...that Nicole is eating for the "cameras"...and will either purge her food OR she won't eat again for 3 or 4 days !! Heck, she may do BOTH !! It does not APPEAR that Nicole seems worried or concerned about her December 11th DUI and her (strong) chances at doing time in jail. I see that ONCE AGAIN (after her release from jail)...she went to a rehab facility and signed in and then signed (herself) out again within hours !! (Think it was Exodus Recovery Center ?!!?) I think that Nicole has problems or "issues" as she likes to call them...but she definitely has "eating/weight issues" as well as drug issues! She LOVES to party so much and I think that ultimately the combination of her eating issues, drug issues & hard partying will result in her heart just giving out on her! If she only had the one issue (eating)...that is tremendously hard on a person's heart...but she has several "cross-addictions". I just HATE to see it happen...but it seems that soon she will be found...dead from all her "issues/addictions"! Wish her the best...maybe she can dry ourt in 2007??

50. It's astounding that some posters are still grasping for enabling things to say about this young woman, who is the proverbial train wreck looking for a location. I mean, this suggests some of you are role modeling against her life as the paradigm, or at least harboring sympathy for her spoiled self-indulgence. Who or what would this chick be without her famous adoptive father? As a parent, it ticks me off that she's so demonstrably ungrateful as to put her dad through her bad and sad behavior. Someone facing jail time for her DUIs and a cold, hard slab for her dysfunctional eating habits might show a little more self respect, self control, and maturity in public if she doesn't want to get further dissed.

51. I wonder how many of us would care if she were not 'famous', but rather the person next door? Is she strung out? I don't doubt it. I saw that famous bikini on the beach photo and was surprised to learn she was not in her 30's. She looks it. So she is mega-rich..I just don't understand why her parents (where ARE they, anyway?) do not do an intervention she cannot get out of. Show her pictures of aenorexic and/or bulemia victims, (yes, victims, because that is what they are). Tell her 'Honey, this is YOU.' Have parents and loved ones who have lost their daughters to this tragedy talk to her, telling her what it was like to bury their child. Then have an undertaker and funeral director come in and ask her to plan her funeral, and ask daddy to write a song to sing at her funeral. Maybe he can release it as a single and donate the funds to charity. MAKE her go dry out, not able to sign herself out after a short stay...she HAS to complete no less than a six month stay somewhere, with trained dieticians, physicians, councelling, the works. THEN, and only then, she'll be released to a boot camp style facility where she is taught how to eat nutritiously, exercise within a safe limit, without drugs, enhancers, etc. Tell her that if she does not, that she'll be involuntarily committed to a psych ward, where she'll be strapped down, force fed through IV's until she gets some weight on her. If she completes treatment, she has to have an assistant (not one of these celebrity butt kissing twits, but someone who'll KICK her butt to do right, as her parents should have done years ago) who'll help her make wise decisions, choices and teach her how to manage on her own. There are some out there who'd give everything to have the financial freedom to get help either for themselves or a loved one, but can't so that person dies from either no care, or too little too late, due to lack of funds.

If she either does not choose to, leaves early, or falls off the wagon, she is cut off from the family money. This child needs to be away from the limelight while doing this. A facility where no one cares about her name, just getting her better. If she dies, she'll be just one of many who have walked that tragic route, and in five years, it'll be 'who? oh, isn't she the one who died of starvation or drugs or something?' But if she gets help, and she'll spend the rest of her life recovering, she can say 'Look, I hit rock bottom, and I have the articles and video worldwide to prove it, and I recovered, so can you.' Although I feel sorry for her, she has the ability to get help. Get away from those tramps, the Hiltons (what would their grandfather say??) and other bimbettes, and just HEAL.

First off, your name seems to say it all. Second, someone needs to say what I did. Many in here were of the same train of thought, I just brought it to the station. Do I know of anyone personally who had/has this? No. And I am thankful for that. You don't sound old enough to remember Karen Carpenter, but she died of aenorexia. Go look her up, her beautiful voice, face, image before she became sick, then progressing til the end. Tragically, in the end, she was getting help, but too little too late...age 32, she died of heart failure.

Was my last post a little long? Maybe for you, but since I trashed the Hiltons, that made it okay, right? So glad I got some approval from you (can you hear the sarcasam?).

One way or another, I hope she gets the help she desperately needs; famous or not, she needs it. No, I am not a fan of hers, I was of her father's in the 80's with his solo career, although his time with the Commadores is a bit before my time. I am just speaking from a point of view as a mother and as a person seeing someone in my daughter's age group, and seeing her as a person. Nothing else.

Yes I do remember Karen Carpenter. She and Nicole have nothing at all in common. Karen had a well documented medical eating disorder and everyone just thinks Nicole has one.

You appear to be young. If you do have a daughter about the same age as Nicole you must have been knocked up at an early age. I think you should worry about your daughters morals instead of worrying about how much she eats.

You do not know me well enough to have the privillege of calling me 'honey'. With a name like hater, I am surprised if you did at any time in the past or will at any time in the future approve of anything.

You also do not have the right to judge if I was too young to have children. (and just for info, I had my eldest in my 20s.)

And for you to worry about my daughter's morals is NONE of your business. She is in her senior year of high school, working, and saving up for life after grad, while waiting to go into the military. What, if anything, have YOU done?

Something is wrong with Nicole, and as I am certain we have not heard from anyone who has close ties to her, we can only surmise. Either way, I hope she gets help.

I have to agree with a few people on here and you all know damn well the moment Nicole or any skinny celeb starts to put on weight it won't take you a second before you call them fat!!! I wish Nicole well and hope she can overcome whatever problems she has.
