Kanye Krazy?

Kanye West has made it clear -- he don't want his MTV. Or does he?

Blaming the music channel for Britney Spears' public meltdown, West put the network on blast, saying, "They exploited her, they played me and I really don't mess with MTV." West was upset because he says he wanted to perform his new single, "Stronger," on the show's main stage, but was relegated to a "suite" performance by the network, even though Justin Timberlake, who also performed in a suite on Sunday's show, ended up "on the big stage" to close the broadcast. Hold up, hater!

A source connected to the awards show tells TMZ that Kanye was offered the main stage, but opted for the suite, claiming he wanted to "feel the excitement and energy" of a smaller venue, rather than people just sitting there at tables. In addition, Kanye's "Stronger" performance was pre-taped Friday night -- to give it a "night" look -- as the actual show went live Sunday night at 6:00 PM, while there was still daylight in Vegas. Our sources say Kanye "loved" his act and expressed that to the MTV execs who were all there. We ain't sayin' he's a golddigger...

For their part, MTV says it "has a long and collaborative relationship with Kanye and we hope and look forward to continuing that meaningful relationship."

48. Well, Kanye makes a little sense. If MTV was doing it's thing so fairly then we wouldn't have BET or the Country Music station. America has been faking the funk for so long and now it can't hold it much longer. Look at Jena, LA. Look at Genarlo Wilson in Atlanta, GA. Time always tell.
America needs to go into isolation and fix our home front problems and pull back from being the international police. I have a 10 year plan that will fix our problems and make us a debt free to the world, super power again.

Proud to be an American Soldier, but America still needs to work on America.

49. As reported by People Mag:
"But a source close to the production said West in fact asked to perform in the suite because he wanted a more energetic setting. The performance, actually pre-taped on Friday night, even got a thumbs-up from West, who viewed it with MTV executives before it aired, the source says. "

50. Ok so maybe hes mad about losing some people are sore losers ( I can be at times)
He does have grammys and he complaing over a VMA award....

but I for one think he has a point about Britney, they should have KNOWN she wouldnt deliver they way another person would have shes wasn't ready to do anything especially perform.
So it just feels like getting her, gets viewers.
and quite frankly his Katrina comment, a mistake, but then again Bush sure took his sweet and happy time to get his butt to New Orleans and for any help to come then comes up with the lame excuse:
"I wasnt informed" yeah whateva thats what you say when you dont do a homework assignment.

51. Kanye is always whining, that's all he is good at.

52. Last time Kanye made a big controversy was two years ago at the Katrina Telethon, just coincidently days before his new album was released. That album went to #1.
Now here we are...new album, new controversy, #1.
He's exploiting racial issues for sales. And people who buy into it just make his ungrateful a$$ richer. It's disgusting.

53. Please don't tell me all of you actually believe Kanye is really this stupid. Everytime he says something outrageous he ends up all over the news. Can't you see this is for ATTENTION! Just keep on talking about him! That's exactly what he wants...

54. It looks as if Britney's "played" everyone. She got the main stage at the MTV awards only to let them down and keep people from seeing a performance worthy of a major awards show.

55. For one thing, you can't exploit someone who wants to do something. If Britney didn't want to be there, she wouldn't have been. Sure she brought viewers and MTV likes that. It doesn't mean its exploitation. As for Justin getting more airtime than Kanye, maybe it has something to do with being smart enough to keep his mouth shut. These people are there to entertain, not to spew their political beliefs. If I'm watching these shows, it's to watch people shake their money makers and sing. If I want to hear politcal views, I'll watch the news. This guy is always crying foul about something. He's still making millions, he should shut the hell up.

56. For all the comments made against Kanye, that he is a "cry baby", "racist" and "idiot", walk a mile in a black man shoes today and then your comments will actually hold some weight. Kanye is just saying all the things you do not want to hear. His experiences are not "make believe", but his comments bother you because you do not have the same problems in this country. I agree with Kanye. MTV had a choice between someone who is still active in his music career, to sing an uplifting song with a great beat, or someone who was not prepared, to sing some song that has no real meaning (message) besides sex, sex, sex and more sex. :( You are tired of the black man pulling "the race card", well the black man is tired of being dealt your sorry hands.

57. It looks like you got more air time now than you would have if you had sung your song. Suck it up and move on, damn I hate a whiner.

58. Pro Kanye,
I just finished walking a mile in my Air Jordans.
Can I call Kanye a whiner now?

59. Kanye is a big baby!!! And Britney Spears knew what she was getting into when she did MTV. She is not a child!!!

60. I think Kanye is hilarious, a bit dramatic, but funny. However, he does have a point about MTV exploiting people. I think he is right on the money with that. Perhaps he is boycotting due to self-motivation, but they really do kick em when they are down. I am down with the boycott. Keep going Kanye!
