These pictures of Miley Cyrus allegedy mocking Asians goofing around in the makeup room on the set of her latest film, "The Last Song," has the Internet buzzing the poses are too provocative for a 16-year-old.
Director Adam Shankman -- who is a producer on the film and appears in one of the pics -- originally posted the photos on his Twitter page and tweeted the following message in reference to the so-called "controversy":
"Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics! She's like my angel little sister."

Not many people receive multiple paychecks for doing something one time -- but Miley Cyrus ain't your average gal.
We just got our hands on one of Miley's minor contracts, which shows the 16-year-old will receive a fat paycheck because a show called "Disney Channel Backstage" wants to use some stock footage of her when she hung out with the Muppets.
The contract promises to stuff Miley's Hello Kitty money clip with $7,500 -- meanwhile she doesn't even have to re-lift a finger.

And the only reason we know for sure is because Joe Jonas opened his mouth and blurted it out on national TV.
The evangelical Christian dandy boy banders were on "Larry King Live" last night when Joe spilled the beans that it's game on for Nick and Miley Cyrus -- ironically blowing it moments before talking about the importance of keeping their relationships "private."
That noise you hear is the sound of tweenage girls sharpening their Hello Kitty pocket knives.

The woman suing Miley Cyrus for the racially charged photo below is now blaming someone else for Miley's bad behavior -- her former boyfriend Justin Gaston.
Lucie Kim now claims Justin should have put the kibosh on the pic because he was an adult.
According to the amended lawsuit, Miley's parents gave Justin authority to "supervise, manage, guard, and oversee [Miley's] conduct while in [his] presence."
Now here's where the plot thickens. Even though Kim believes Justin was responsible, she didn't add him as a defendant to the $4 billion lawsuit. We're guessing it's because the only 4 billion Justin knows is the burgers he'll be selling at McDonald's.

Oops, she did it again. For the 3rd time in a week, Miley Cyrus' peeps hijacked her radio interview when the questions crossed the Disney approved line.
MiCy was on with WNCI Columbus this morning -- but as soon as the DJ asked about the meagerly anticipated 4th season of her TV show, the line went dead.
On her Twitter, Cyrus blamed previous hang-ups on her busy schedule -- saying if "a station goes over time I am IMMEDIATELY connected to the next station."

Billy Ray Cyrus is doing his best acting job yet -- by pretending that he and Miley are excited about a new season of "Hannah Montana."
Disney has just picked a fourth season of Miley's show, which, according to Billy Ray, was all Miley's choice. But we doubt that's the case. First of all, as EW points out, she was under contract -- you know, a legal document that forces you to do things, regardless of your opinion.
Secondly, as we told you last year, Billy Ray and Miley feel there is more money in her music career. So Billy Ray and Miley started showing up late to "Hannah" tapings, stalling production and fighting with co-stars -- all to try and force Disney's hand.
Looks like Miley's getting some tough love from her "parents," aka Disney's legal team.

So you're suing Miley Cyrus, claiming she defamed 1,000,000 Asian Pacific Islanders in L.A. County by taking a picture while making squinty eyes ... so how do you gain favor with the judge -- call him a racist.
Lucie Kim and her lawyer, Henry Lee (not the OJ Simpson forensics dude Henry Lee) claim the judge crossed the line in a hearing last week by repeatedly referring to Asians as "oriental." They say the word "oriental" is "an offensive, derogatory racial insult to persons of Asians descent ... akin to using the word N---er.
Kim and Lee want Judge Robert Hess to remove himself from the case.

It's time for Round 2 of Miley Cyrus' PR bulldogs vs radio DJs -- and this time, one of her handlers actually jumped in on the conversation in order to redirect the line of questioning.
Miley was on with Chet Buchanan and the Morning Zoo on 98.5 KLUC in Vegas today, when they strayed from the pre-approved topics and asked how much control Cyrus has over her bank account. Great question, right?
Wrong.
The voice that answered was not Hannah Montana's -- and the DJ's response couldn't have been more perfect.

Miley Cyrus' PR peeps are hardcore -- and they'll shut anyone down who doesn't play by their rules.
When the MJ Morning Show decided to go rogue on the 16-year-old Disney supastar -- asking questions that weren't pre-approved by her publicity team -- the only response he got was the click of a phone hanging up.

Either Disney is cheap, or doesn't think Miley Cyrus is worth that much -- because the Mouse is being a real tightwad when it comes to paying Cyrus for a cameo on one of their other shows.
We got our hands on Miley's contract for her guest appearance on Disney's "The Suite Life on Deck" -- which airs in June -- and it only guarantees Miley $5,000 for a week of work.
It may sound like a decent amount of scratch, but Miley's a big star and could easily get more for a guest spot on a non-Disney show.
Hell, "Idol's" bikini girl made $10,000 for hosting a Vegas party recently.
But the paltry paycheck actually makes a lot of sense, since the story we broke last year about Miley and her dad wanting out of "Hannah Montana" because there's far more money in singing than in doing a Disney cable show.
