WTF Did Britney Just Say?!

A track on Britney's new leaked CD "Circus" comes with a special f***in' message.
Britney Spears
When Britney sings the title of the song "If U Seek Amy" it sounds like she spells out a certain four-letter expletive that she wants done to her. Coincidence? Then explain the lyrics, "All of the boys and all of the girls are beggin' to If U Seek Amy."

Who knew the conservatorship wonder -- or whoever writes her shizz -- was so clever?!

Ashley Dupre Wants to Yell for Cash

The ex-prostitute -– fine, escort – who felled Eliot Spitzer wants to sell herself to that other brothel, the music biz.

Dupre has already hooked up with Chris Lighty, the guy who has managed 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, and Missy Elliott, reports the New York Post, and is looking to get her "real" music career underway. You may remember she actually tried to record some perfunctory R&B-type music before Client No. 9 made her famous.

No word if she'll be playing any instruments.

Axl Rose Gunning for Dr Pepper

Axl Rose is accusing Dr Pepper of doing the same thing he did for nearly 17 years: Screwing people out of what they were promised.

Rose is accusing Pepper of profiting off the Guns N' Roses name, after the soda company's website malfunctioned during their free Dr Pepper giveaway on Sunday. The 20 oz. handouts were a promise made by Pepper if "Chinese Democracy" ever hit the shelves.

Axl's lawyers are demanding full-page apologies in four major newspapers, an extended period of time to collect on the free suds and payment for unauthorized use the GN'R name.

Vatican to Lennon: We'll Let it Be

The Vatican has finally gotten over that little thing John Lennon said back in 1966 -- that The Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ.

The Vatican newspaper, according to MSNBC, now says the remark "sounds only like a 'boast' by a young working-class Englishman faced with unexpected success, after growing up in the legend of Elvis and rock and roll."

The story in Vatican Daily Osservatore Romano went on to praise The Beatles on the 40th anniversary of The White Album -- apparently they're fine with the Charles Manson theme song "Helter Skelter," "Revolution," and "Why Don't We Do it in the Road."

Ob-la-di, ob-la-da.

Ford & The Turtles -- Not Happy Together

The song "Happy Together" has successfully annoyed every last American. Now the tune has so bent someone out of shape, they're suing.

The company that owns the rights to the record claims Ford did not have the right to use The Turtles' 1967 hit in a commercial. The sinking motor company had struck a deal to use the words and music from the song in Brazil and Argentina, but the song owner insists Ford violated its Turtle rights.

The suit is for more than $200,000 in damages.

The Roots Survive Double-Decker Bus Crash

A double-decker bus carrying The Roots crashed and flipped over in Paris last night -- and after their drummer crawled out of the rubble of cereal, broken glass and bathroom fluid, he immediately blogged about it.
The Roots
Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt when a van (pictured underneath the bus) crashed into the bus, forcing it to do a 360 on the highway and turn on its side. When the drummer, Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson, emerged from the chaotic scene, he immediately sent a post-wreck email to Okayplayer.com that read: "well...since we are sitting on the side of the road. what better way to pass the time while the ambulance come then [sic] to....blog."

Love later wrote a detailed blow-by-blow of the crash and aftermath from a motel, where he described the moment he realized he wasn't dead, described the injuries ("some of us have cuts and neck braces on"), and declared, "we are so grateful for this outcome."

Daisy Duke Shut Out of CMAs

Jessica SimpsonFormer pop singer/actress/wife Jessica Simpson just added another stellar achievement to her disintegrating resume, the CMAs' persona non grata.

In a last ditch effort to save her career, the "Dukes of Hazzard" star released a country album earlier this year -- so it would have made sense to make an appearance at last night's show. Unfortunately, the Carrie Underwood-hosted CMAs had no time to have Tony Romo's current girlfriend perform, present or sit in the bleachers, since they had already filled their ranks with tried and true country artists like ... Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon and Lil Wayne!

But don't worry, Ashlee Simpson's sister doesn't need the entire country music establishment on her side. Tonight she's performing at an Indian casino near Ontario, Calif. and we're told 50% of tix are still available.

"Dancing with the Stars" here she comes!
